Mesa Verde--June 4th

After entering the park, drove directly to Spruce Tree House at Chapin Mesa, where there was scheduled to be some more tribal dancing later that morning. Those were canceled (later found out why) so did a hike to the Pictographs(really Pectographs) that was a special treat. Not only for the wilderness, original, non-touristy feel of the land itself but for the fact that as difficult as the hike was, I made it and was NOT exhausted or even sore from the effort! My hard work is paying off--feels great.
