This is the company I chose--San Juan Island Commuters--cause they visit several of the islands, dropping off and picking up locals and visitors alike. Since there are 14(I think) of these islands, the trip wasn't just for whale watching but island 'hopping' as well. Hard to see in this collage but the man on the right was our pilot--quite young but very knowledgable and had a good relaxed way with the locals too. The other man was the'mate'.
