The Founders Grove collage-- photo of wonders-- as we wandered thru the grove and looked at these huge Redwoods. This, as the name implies, is the home of the original coastal redwoods that were preserved in 1918, as the first National Park, saving these giants for coming generations to see. The logging industry was rapidly clear-cutting all of these wonderful old trees. This is found on 'The Avenue of the Giants' drive in Northern CA.
