--then the rest of the day, after Chinatown--Cable car rides, Ghirardelli square[of course, Hot Fudge Sunday after lunch at Fisherman's Wharf] Maritime Museum [climb on the old ships], more cable car back to Chinatown to complete the shopping---that backpack got really heavy by day's end too!! Long but successful day!!
