Mesa Manor's new garden, just off the flagstone patio in back,[ that I watched being created last summer]--now extended and with an irrigation system to keep it green, even without the 'monsoon' rains---natural rainfall from July-September--that brings on the second blooming of the dry AZ landscape. The first being in early June/late May, after the winter moisture. A tall Canna, dwarf pink, red and purple Crepe Myrtle, and a potted geranium--that Sally's brother, Paul, fixed for Sally and Mike's 45th wedding anniversary--celebrated here, where they married [at Bedside Manor, the family home, where Paul and Barbara live now], July 1, 1961. Family came to help with the celebration and to admire the new patio plantings and----
