Skagit River--a glacier fed river. You can tell by the color. Glacier "milk" or" flour"color is a result of very small particles of minerals, suspended in the water, that don't filter or precipitate out, over the very long distances these rivers travel. This river has 3 dams on it producing the Seattle, WA, and surrounding 'sound' areas needs for electricity, since the 1920's.
